More and more Impreza's are now becoming Collectors Items, and restorations are commonplace.
One part which is no longer available from the manufacturer are the seals used as a protective barrier between the side skirts and bodywork
These have now been discontinued by Subaru, meaning various methods have been tried including poor quality seals which are too stiff, or ones which just don't match the profile needed.
RCM's seal for this has been replicated exactly from the original profile used, using the best PVC quality material available today, meaning the fitting of these is exactly as Subaru intended 20+ years ago. We have replicated exactly the blue as used on the Subaru Impreza 22B.
You will need to use a high quality clear drying superglue to fix the seals in place, or a Polyurethane adhesive (S136 for example). The original Subaru seal had small notches cut out of the ends of them, to allow the seal to sit completely flat where they join together.
Our seal will be supplied in a 2mtr length, this allows you to cut exactly to size. This means that not only can this be used on Subaru Impreza 22B. But they can be used on Subaru Impreza GC8/GF8 models from 1992-2000 but also the later models 2001-2007 with longer single piece side skirt.
