The Story
Hardened mounts have long been a valuable asset to any engine rebuild or form of chassis tuning.
Aimed primarily for track and circuit users our modified mount is based around the already improved STI version but with the addition of further material. This makes the RCM mount the firmest available without utilizing a solid mount and so helps limit transmission vibration from traveling into the body shell whilst still dramatically reducing gearbox movement, (particularly under acceleration, braking and hard cornering).
When combined with STI's Hardened engine mounts, flex and twist in the engine will also be less, improving the overall driving experience and helping engine power transfer into the drive train more efficiently.
This mount is a direct replacement part meaning no modification is required.
